I had to have a RV repair to come help me since I couldn't keep letting rain in. That was $375(2 trips).

None of the RV repair shops will work w/Heartland because they have to go to too much trouble to get any money. As in this case they just wuldn't get it. Since it was actually raining in my trailer and I sent pictures AND no needed silicone sealant.....if I couldn't get reimbursed for that.....I'm sure very few, if anyone, gets satisfactory resolutions. See below, it says manufacturing issue!!

Well, if not sealing a RV AT ALL to keep rain out I don't know what is. They also overtightened the pic pipe under the tub which caused other leak into my kitchen! ADVICE: Simple workman errors that cause BIG problems and Heartland won't take responsibility!! Bottom line they wouldn't pay anything.

Answer from email was "I wish I could do the service call, but itโ€™s company policy not to cover them unless the unit is rendered immobile, from a mfg related issue. Unfortunately, this doesnโ€™t meet that criteria. Thank You, Bob Pierson Heartland Technical Services 877-262-****" At first I got a good response from Heartland when I sent the pictures to them. They said "Is there any chance you might be able to get a photo of the top of the slideout?

We have to get this taken care of immediately.

Thank You, Bob Pierson Heartland Technical Services 877-262-**** robert.pierson@***.com" So technicians took pictures when they came to repair. These were sent showing there was not ANY SILICONE which is the last line of "defense" to keep rain from coming into your trailer from slide.

I have a Heartland M33 Bunkhouse 36.5. I've had it since Sept. 2018.

I already had a kitchen leak close to the bathroom that was caused (per technician) coupling under bathtub that was tightened with a wrench when it should have been tighten by hand.

Now, it is actually raining in my trailer. NO KIDDING.

It rains VERY hard here in Foley, AL(close to ocean).

Slide out has not been damaged by anything i.e. no limbs falling on it etc.

I thought at first that in the middle of the night I'd slide the slide(sorry for pun) out slightly when I was rolling my awning out b/c of storm.

So I made sure that it was completely in.

During the night, because I couldn't sleep thinking about drying carpet out the next day and just what if it wasn't my error?

Pouring in AGAIN so it wasn't me.

Look at my pictures and you will see it is actually raining.

I don't want this trailer after that or any trailer actually after that. Do you think I'll get my money back? Ha! I've already paid $25,000 down on a $31,000 trailer.

This has been a HORROR!!!

The technician will be coming tomorrow.

Both times when I had to repair trailer neither business wouldn't work in filing the cost w/Hearland b/c they said it was so hard to get their money back. I bought this from Camping World here in Foley. I did get the extra repair coverage but they said that if it was anything major that I would have to get it towed. I tried to deal with them last time and the repair shop didn't even answer the phone!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $25.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Location: Daphne, Alabama
