I bought a 2016 Heartland Cyclone 4250, custom ordered from the factory with a residential 24 cu fridge. As my wife and I two children plan on spending a year or so on the road.

Before we arrived to our first destination,we were showing it to someone at a truck stop. opened the side porch, and the sliding glass door fell out. when we reached our destination, our custom installed fridge & freezer unit was not working. had to live out of a cooler.

the list goes on... 14 ft living room slide out would not go in, outdoor shower never worked, molding coming off inside, wrong screws used on thresholds, including steps to bedrooms and floor vents. Everytime myself or family walked barefoot, was like stepping on nails. all staples and nails on the custom interior were coming out and not spackled.

city and freshwater tank valve almost impossible to switch from city to tank. Our gray and black tank levels always showed 2/3 full even after emptying and still do. never could get parts delivered to La Mesa RV where it was purchased. After waiting nine days for over night parts that never showed up, got pissed, cut our trip short in Florida and headed to Elkhart, Indiana.

emailed them to let them know we were on our way. THE HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AT CORPORATE SAID NOT TO COME, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. They stated we have no one to work on it and no place to put it. Now listen to this, when we showed up, they have a campground out back of their repair shop, with 6 or 8 pads with FULL Hook up.

Where everyone who buys Heartland is allowed to stay while being serviced. Their tune changed when we arrived, and we stayed their for 6 days while our repairs where being completed. After leaving and weather being cooler up north, we find out our furnace does not work. Even when hooked up to city water, not using water pump, pump comes on and off at all hours, even when we are sleeping.

While waiting to get in for more repairs, staying at a campground, we get a call from the manager of the campground that water is running out of our doors and underneath. Even though we are hooked up to city, all faucets off, no water pump on,our TUB overflows and flooded our entire unit. so much so, the underbelly shield was on the ground from water. Mobil tech came out to determine cause, at the request of Scott McDaniels at Heartland.

Mobil tech determined faulty valves, water running in to tanks and underbelly, even with all faucets off. Even the tub was overflowing again. shorted out all power, burnt up inverters, no power anywhere. Had it towed to a repair shop, they diagnosed the same thing.

Both Techs from two different locations recommended to take it back to the factory and demand a new one. Now remember, checking this out with two independent techs, was Heartlands Scott McDaniels idea. We informed him of the findings of Mobil Tech and Repair service tech. He stated, they need to go back to mechanics school, they do not know what they are talking about.

He said This is not a Warranty issue, BUT HEARTLAND WOULD REPLACE THE VALVE FOR FRESH WASTER HOOK UP, BUT NOTHING ELSE! Because we must have done something wrong, not Heartlands problem. Call your Insurance company, not me. We even called ServPro, an environmental clean up service, to have our Cyclone cleaned so we could move back in it, because as our family is on the road traveling, and currently staying in a hotel with a $9000 bill to date.

They said absolutely no, the unit has to be gutted because of black mold in the walls, floors and insulation. totally uninhabitable. Needless to say my wife and I hooked up this $95,000 POS and drove to Elkhart, IN and left it at their repair shop, with the keys in it.

disgruntled heartland owners, get back with me, we need to stop this company. I believe a class action lawyer is needed...

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $95000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Heartland Rvs Cons: Heatland not backing there product or warranty.

Location: Fenton, Michigan

We are dealing with a major issue with our 2016 Heartland Landmark 365 we had it 17 days it rained and on of the slides leaked took it in for repairs to local dealership and got it back 7 days later. In 24 hours it began raining and guess what more leaks it's been raining for 3 days and the entire slide is leaking from one end to the other.

Been talking to Terry at HL he is sending a mobile service repair in 1 hour not sure what they can do.

Today we have had to 40 days and got lots of water damage to floors, carpet, wood and recliner.

Did you get your issue resolved or did you get a lawyer

We have a long list of problems with our cyclone 4000 as well. So tired of getting the run around we just stopped contacting them.

We would be in on a lawsuit. We've slept 3 nights in our 2016 Heartland Northtrail.

It's shameful they can sell such poor quality.

The underbelly flooded, the slide is broke, there are staples sticking up into our feet and it tows terribly. I'm scared what other problems are going to occur

I agree with you. Heartland does EVERYTHING wrong.

We have a Big Horn fifth wheel that has so many problems. Everything we go on a trip something fails. We have five slides and four failed. One even slid out 4 inches while on the road.

I contacted the NTSB.

The company knew that there were problems with how they were attached and choose to do nothing about it. They really make ano awful product.

The thing is all of this can be preventable with good quality control practices. ALL OF IT!

I am amazed at this date and time that this isn't just part of doing business. Sad..

If you take the factory tour at Heartland in Elkhart, Indiana. They take pride in the fact they put out 12 campers a day.

It's obvious they see this as a positive and not a negative.

Process less campers a day, heck a week, and your quality control increases.

It is all about the $$$, not the customer anymore.

I purchased a used 2014 Sundance from a dealer. It took me a few weeks to take my first trip.

When I pulled the cap of the sewer to hook up the hose. sewer drained out everywhere.

Found out the valves would not close. Had to put new valves on the discharge pipes.

The slide tore the carpet and vinyl floor when it was slide in.

Get the law office and I will join in. I have a new Sundance and its unbelievable on how bad the workman ship is.

Are slide outs keep pushing the linoleum flooring up, the flooring is not level, trim keep falling off, tank gauges are not working correctly. I am not sure to expect next.
