2010 Cyclone 2812 Issues
From day one we had leaks from the freshwater tanks (we sent it in for service several times); so much so that I removed the rear half of the plastic paneling on the underside of the coach so that I could contend with new leaks as they appeared. After tightening every fitting & clamp many times over a few years time I discovered a molded air vent fitting on the very top of the lower tank that was separating from the tank that would eventually drain the upper freshwater tank that I ended up replacing on my own dime.
I'm on my 3rd water pump (the first one failed when the trailer was only 3 months old).
The heater was not warming the inside of the trailer. When I was replacing the first water pump I discovered that the most of the heated air was blowing into the area under the trailer where the water tanks were instead of the conditioned space, so I blocked the hole leading under the trailer and the heater now works fine.
The fuel pump constantly stops pumping requiring me to loosen & readjust the bolts holding the pump together because of tolerance issues.
Before the first year the decals began to crack causing the gel-coat behind them to crack as well...no warranty on those.

Heartland EDGE trailers - Spongy floors
We have a 2011 Heartland EDGE M21 that the 3 inch thick composite Styrofoam floor that is becoming spongy between the built in supports in the floor in the walkway in front of the sink and stove top. The entrapped styrofoam is breaking down and the floor gives by about 3/4 inch the middle of the suports when stepped on.
Before the floor breaks, does anyone have a repair solution? We have seen the u-tube video by the Englishman on epoxy injection thru the top layer of the floor and plugging the holes with furniture dowels.

Heartland has told me too bad
We dont care and will not help repair this problem which will run in the thousands. Their have been other people with the same problem with their trailrunner. Heartland reps said not their problem and dont care if i am happy or not POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Time to hire a lawyer as I am very mad the camper is only 4 years old.

Heartland Cyclone Toy Hauler (2015 **** HD Model)
Specifically; fit, finish and quality issues throughout. The RV is put together with cheap and inferior quality products, the fit and finish is horrible and the customer "NO" service you get from Heartland is horrendous.
For the price you pay for these things, it's is totally unacceptable that Heartland doesn't put more quality and better fit and finish into these units. It's not like your buying an "entry level" RV, not for $60-$70k then they have the audacity to put an MSRP of $108k on it to make it seem your getting a real "deal" at $60/65/70k. After only 4 months of ownership, we are looking to sell it and get something that represents a better value.
We should have taken a closer look at what we were actually throwing our money away on before we signed the contract.

Verified Reviewer | Acton, CaliforniaHeartland Rvs - 2016 Heartland Oakmont 345Rs Rv Review from Acton, California
My husband and I just bought a 2016 Oakmont 345rs because we loved the layout and colors of the interior. We had it delivered which ended with our roof getting dented, three days later I was reaching into the closet to pull some clothes out for our 3 year old son when the 1x6 piece of wood fell down on me knocking my shoulder out of socket which has lead to problems with my dominant arm.I'm pretty physically active having our son and at this point I can't even pick him up with pains shooting in my arm.
One of our recliners isn't bolted together and is missing bolts on one side that isn't bolted to the floor, trim in missing in places under cabinets, corner banisters are loose on the island, and the whole island moves back and forth, the shower wall has a spider Web Crack which has poked through the clear coat, the closet doors scratch each other up when you open them, trim by front door pops out and isn't nailed to anything but air, water leaks into our storage compartment and from behind the valve compartment when we flush our black water tank, the smell of sewage fills the closet when we dump the tanks, the residential style fridge stopped cooling below 40 degrees after a week, the tvs in both rooms have issues, the salesman told us that the floors in this 4 seasons camper were 5 inches of foam insulation between two sheets of 1 inch plywood which I have found reason to believe there isn't due to *** in the floor I can see into with no foam in sight, we have an electrical box on the floor that was never covered, there is putty all over the walls which looks like a bunch of three year olds did it, the rubber seal on one of the slides was never screwed in, the trim under the slide isn't straight, the metal is screwed in a rolling hill looking at it from the side, and so much more that I don't have enough room to type it all. We are extremely upset! My husband is a lineman so we travel all over the states which has us worried about what's going to happen. It was literally moved 1/10th of a mile and we have issues with trim and fixtures, what happens when we pull it 1700 miles ?
We purchased extended warranties in case something happened down the road, not for having a brand new camper for a week then having to disrupt our lives to have things done that should have been part of the quality the company seems to boast about having in their products before it ever left the factory. I'm ready to contact an attorney and get some major recognition amongst the RV clubs we are a part of over this and the fact that my lifestyle with my son and the outdoors has been altered since this trim which has no evidence of even being screwed in fell on my arm.

2015 Cyclone Toy Hauler, Do not buy from Ray Citte, RV.
Did my home work, researched the various trailers, I knew I wanted a toy hauler as I do a lot of ATVing with the ATV Clubs in Utah. I listened to the salesman about what a good company Heartland was supposed to be.
There was items that needed to be corrected when we looked at the trailer and we were told they would get them fixed and they would schedule the trailer in for repair. I dropped the trailer off the week of Labor day last September, I was told 4-6 weeks it would be done. I called first part of November having not heard anything and was told another 6 weeks, still have not heard anything, called today January 12, no parts I'm told, the Dealer is still waiting, I called Heartland and just get lip service about the dealer never sent in the request for parts until last week. Dealer has had my trailer for going on 5 months and has accomplished nothing but the dealer Ray Citte RV in Roy Utah saying its the factories fault and when I call Heartland I just get excuses about its the dealers fault.
Heartland and Ray Citte RV sold me a $100,000.00 trailer and have both lied to me. I WOULD NEVER BUY A HEARTLAND PRODUCT AGAIN.
I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM RAY CITTE AGAIN. Terrible, Terrible product and service I can go into further detail if anyone wants more info email me at: usamsgret@***.com

Lack of technical data and Dealer Support.
We bought our 2014 25RKS Prowler from Lloyd Bridges RV in Chelsea MI. It has been to say the least an exercise in abysmal customer service.
They had our camper for over a month and STILL did not complete the warranty work, nor could I get any technical data specific to this camper. The Black water gages have never worked, doors fall off cabinets, the lack of quality is beyond any level of acceptable standards. I have the distinct impression that since we did not buy a 5th wheel or class A we are not even on their radar! This also seems to be the case at most RV stores and repair facilities!
Thus I am making all the repairs and modifications myself. I wish I had bought a LANCE!

Black holding tank dropped?
After six months from purchase (Mar 31 2015 warranty date) I noticed a "bulge" just under the black tank area. Dixie RV in Hammond LA claimed I had driven over a bump with a full tank & this would NOT be covered!
We have been RVing for nine years and I always dump all tanks when leaving the campground. After some discussion I ended paying $844.71 (I was told this was only 1/3 of the 15+ hour labor cost @ $159.95/hr) as Heartland & Dixie would cover a third each also. The technician showed me a "slightly bent" angle metal strip that caused the whole problem!
Seriously?
My question is why was this not covered under the factory warranty? And how sensitive are the Heartland holding tank mounts as I previously had a Keystone product for 8 years camping in 42 of the 48 lower states with no problems!

I've got a 2011 Heartland Edge M18, and from shortly after 1 year until now, its gradually 'sunk' in around one of the floor beams in the bathroom (in front of the toilet). I took it to Arbutus Service Dept a couple of times over the last few years and they said they highly doubt its water, and suggested the flooring came apart in some fashion, right around the beam.
I had purchased the 7 year extended warranty, and they said it likely wouldn't touch it, and being that the first time it took it in was over 1 year, Heartland wouldn't either. So, at this point I've simply been watching it.
So frustrating. My only consolation after reading the post by anonymous, was that it could be styrofoam sag, and not be water.
I own a RV collision and service company in Oklahoma City, We have seen this issue many times in light weight trailers and almost any other RV that has a "Bonded" floor. Bonded in this case as well as many others means you have a Styrofoam sandwich so to spaek. The Bonded or more commonly known in the industry as vacuum bonded floor, sidewalls, end walls and ceilings/roofs consist of layers starting with the topside in the case of a floor is typically a layer of 1/4'' to 1/8'' luan plywood,1 1/2'' styrofoam sheeet in the middle,1/4'' to 1/8'' plywood on the bottom layer.
I've had average to below average size and weight people come in complaining of soft spots in their floors in the same areas. After they tell me there are soft spots in the floor I usually interject before they go on and say " let me guess, it's soft in front of the sink, stove, shower and possibly one or both sides of the bed?" That's about the time the husband and wife look at each other wide eyed and simultaneously reply yes!How did you know ? I know this from working on thousands of RV's through the years that have the same common problem with vacuum bonded floors. Where do we most often stand in one place most often in our RV's, In front of the sink, stove, shower and either side of the bed.Find a piece of foam like you would get from packaging from a new appliance or something of the sort and stand in one place on that material and what will happen?
It will compress, naturally.
Well the long and short of it folks is you just bought yourselves a Igloo on wheels ( not even a Yeti). It's a vehicle wrapped in shiny fiberglass on the outside and beautiful interiors clothed in warm Mocha accents that are appealing to the eye.
