Heartland Rvs - 2016 Cyclone 4200, poor poor quality
I bought this unit because the floor plan offered an open feel but soon realized the poor construction and poor quality. I'll start out by listing the items I've replaced so far: 9 recessed LED lights in the ceiling, A/C unit on front, capacitor for middle A/C unit, stereo system for rear garage area, oil sensor for generator, thermocouple for stove, electric fireplace, mattress in master feels like I'm laying in *** and now my fold down decks are starting to bubble up because they're made out of cheap material.
I've contacted Lippert, the company that makes these decks, and they're saying they won't replace them. I'm fed up with both Heartland and Lippert Components. Since day one, I've had nothing but problems out of this unit and I've been back and forward to the dealer, which is 2hrs away. It's now sitting at a local RV repair shop and Lippert won't help me out and stand behind their products and fix the decks.
I'll never buy another Heartland product!!! 75K thrown out the door!!!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $75.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Heartland Rvs Cons: Quality of product.

I have a 2016 cyclone the refrigerator fell out going down the road been in contact with customer service they haven't said they were going to fix it still sending pictures
I have the same 2016 model. I havent even had a year yet and have had numerous problems.
My deck had to be replaced becauase water got inside and ruined it. The roof cover came lose, exposing the cheaply made wood ceiling. I have water leaking in my camper. The wall amd floor in the bedroom are ruined.
The selector switch for the water was broken and had to be fixed. Several lights had to be fixed or replaced. The water pump has never worked right, and the wall is de-lamenating (the outside skin is coming off the wall), and a whole host of other issues. Im seriously considering a lawsuit.
This trailer cost over 75 thousand dollars.
I would Never buy another Heartland Product. Don't waste your money in their products.
You do realize that not only does Heartland use Lippert made parts but basically every other manufacturer uses them as well. Last I checked Lippert made the chassis, stabilizing system, etc.
Every problem you mentioned was strictly a component that Heartland did not make. They were components that every other RV maker uses. How are you going to blame Heartland for this?
Are you that retarded? Dont even answer that, your *** answered that question.
Stop calling people retarded. It makes you look bad. If Lippert makes inferior junk products, then Heartland shouldn't use them.
That's the most ridiculous cop out I ever heard. That's like blaming a vendor that ford or GM use to supply the parts to build their cars when they build a poor vehicle.
It is the manufacturers responsibility to make sure the vendors products they put in their tv's are up to a certain standard if they buy junk to put in a rv well then their reputation is at stake for not demanding a better end product for their customer.
Vendors build products to the rv manufacturers specs just like vendors in the automotive industry. If you buy a new ford and have a problem do u want to be referred to the parts vendor who supplied the seals in the transmission if it goes bad, I DON'T THINK SO!
